I graduated from JFK University with a Master’s in Somatic Counseling Psychology and have gone on to train in Gottman Method Couples Counseling, Gottman’s Bringing Baby Home education, perinatal mood disorders, Healing Shame, Brainspotting, Psycho-Physical Therapy, grief therapy, and sex therapy among others, and am currently pursuing certification in Bader-Pearson Couples Counseling and HeartMath. I worked as a massage therapist for over 10 years and honor the place the body has in emotional healing.
I came to this work when I saw the impact therapy made in my own life. After I miscarried my second child in the second trimester, I really struggled with grief, shame, and traumatic memories. Therapy helped me heal– in fact, it helped so much, I knew I wanted to pass forward however I could vital compassion, practical tools, and emotional support to others.
I am a mother, a partner, a lover of horses and reading. I am currently learning how to play the ukulele and guitar.
